STRONGER TOGETHER

MARILLAC HOUSE & ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY | COMBINED BRAND IDENTITY

After decades of close collaboration, two organizations performing vital work for Chicago’s underserved communities come together as one.

MOST IN NEED

Primary education and childcare, family counseling, and outreach to the homeless and isolated seniors are just some of the vital services St. Vincent de Paul Center and Marillac House have provided to Chicago's western neighborhoods for decades. In 2013, the two organizations joined forces to become Marillac St. Vincent Family Services. CIULLA developed a fresh identity, positioning, printed communications and promotional materials for the newly-combined agency.

A NEW IDENTITY

CIULLA presented a wide array of identity concepts that emphasized different aspects of the organization. In the end, MSV selected the sunburst design shown at left. For them, it captured what they call the “Vincentian spirit", and promotes empowerment and hope, like the organization itself.

CIULLA then developed comprehensive positioning and visual guidelines for MSV, encompassing business papers and other printed materials, digital executions, and building signage.
